Quit using semantics to mis-represent a player. Middle-six and top-six could both mean second line.A middle 6 forward over a 2/3 defenseman? I’m going to wager a guess it’s because Rasmussen went 9th overall.

It just occurred to me that I forgot about Givani Smith in my top 10 prospects list. I would've definitely put him over Hicketts/Saari

I see him as a bottom 6er, I don't see Hicketts or Saarijarvi as surefire NHLers. Why? Smith hasn't done anything noteworthy since been a reach pick in the draft.

Still has different meanings for different people. I would bet on Rasmussen being a 30+20, JVR type winger. JVR was technically a 3rd liner.I think there's a distinction. A middle 6 forward is one who bounces between a second and third line, a top 6 will be one that can and sometimes does get 1st line minutes.
