Getting the call right is more important to me than increasing scoring. Excitement for me is from scoring chances, not goals.

Offside as a rule loses its usefulness if you're going to pick it apart to a fraction of an inch. It fulfills its intended - and sensible - function just fine based on the officials' judgment even if that's only 95% right.

Creating lengthy reviews and calling back goals because of a tiny and basically irrelevant difference makes the offside rule an impediment to the sport. There's a point where looking for infractions in every place sucks the fun out of the game.

Not exactly true, but if there is more than two then at least it means they served their purpose properly.
