The fear of resigning Anderson was the back end of the contract. It is way to early to judge this trade. The guy is signed for six more seasons at a $5.5 million cap hit. What kind of player will he be in 4 years? It looked like a win by Montreal after the first half of the season, but it has pulled much closer to even after the 2nd half of the season. Maybe a slight advantage to Montreal but we aren’t even 1/7 of the way through the evaluation.

We haven’t even seen the playoffs. If Montreal knocks off Toronto and Anderson is a contributor, Montreal will feel great about the trade for years to come just off that series.
