Haven't seen him play for years, did his foot speed improve?

Speed looks fine.
Poise is spectacular.

Right now it's that second of decision making that's still a bit of an issue. The best solution? Pair him up with Giordano. He made Doug Hamilton, who has the same issue, get talked about like a 1D (once he was traded of course).

Then why does Brodie still look like a pile of garbage?

Really improved his game as of late, and his possession has gotten a lot better. Even played top pairing minutes when Brodie has looked off. Giordano is an amazing mentor.

Rasmus has been great this year. Skates well for a big guy and puts it on the tape of the forwards more often than not when breaking the puck out. Gets hemmed in once and a while but for the most part does a good job of keeping the other team to the outside. What he's really good at is pinching and keeping the puck in at the opposing blueline, and also has a good feel for getting his shot through traffic.

19 pts in regular season and 3 pts in 5 games in playoffs. Can’t see how he isn’t a future top 4 dman (could be as soon as this coming season).

What a beauty.
Watched him a number of years back at the flames development camp, he was the best player on the ice, this was including kids years older than him at the time, just insane pace and understanding.

Happy he’s continued to develop in the AHL, and even at the NHL level from where he started to where he finished... sky’s the limit for this kid. For sure top 4, might even be some more room there.
