In most cases a 23-year-old former Division I recruit and draft pick playing Division III NCAA hockey isn't someone considered a "prospect" but this player caught my attention if nothing else due to the fact that he has overcome adversity.

College Hockey: After losing his mother and scholarship, Parsells emerges from the ashes.

Parsells was named an All-American as a junior in 2019-20. Will be interesting to see if there is pro hockey after that.

I remember catching him at Nationals in Green Bay back in 2014 where he turned a ton of heads and got his commit like a week later. He was always going to be a long-term guy for the pro game but he had/has real upside, wouldn't shock me if he panned out. But I haven't seen him play in years. Rooting for him for sure
