Aint no way Laine is catching that with his career high 28 assists.
I think it's important to keep the expectations tempered (atleast for assists) when you're dealing with a 1-dimensional PP specialist.That 29 assists looks way better because it was done in 3/4 of the games with inferior linemates.
With all the talent and games played laine has to his advantage, a career high of 28 assists is pretty disgusting.

Well I'll be damned. He turned it around. See the year before last Laine was 16th in even strength points while Nylander was in the 90's. He did really well for himself last year.He's laughing at how he has more even strength points than laine he has over the past 2 seasons
