Worst Case, Ontario
Bouwmeester at worst is still an excellent defensive defenseman who eliminates dangerous chances and shots against, while he had a couple of fantastic offensive seasons. He's tier 4 in my opinion because of his decline, but he isn't close to tier 5 or 6.

Agreed with the first part, but if we are taking his entire career and not just recent play into account than I think he was properly placed on that 3rd tier.

Should go back farther but best career is toews. I think Barkov might be the best eventually but most of the guys on this list are still making cases for themselves

. Edit nvm I read barker as Barkov he was second overall. Toews should be first but I could see alot of the younger guys being better than him

If Drouin can stay away from injury and sustain a good pace for points, he'll be up there on everyones lists by the end of his career

Personally I don't think Toews has actually done much indivdually in his career, but history will be very kind to his championships and international accolades, definitely a low end tier 2.

I just don't think much of Duchene's game despite his production.

* Means a player has a significant chance of moving up. Turris would normally have one but he's below three * guys (and I can't see him catching up Gaborik at this point).

Depending on their respective careers a few players can move up or down, solid list as it stands.

Hockey is a team sport and Toews is the ultimate team sport player.
PK, PP, faceoffs, fights, clutch goals, clutch defensive plays, etc. He does it all well and at times seems to will his team to win.

Duchene is a good offensive player. I don't see him enough to judge his overall play but he always seems to score against the Hawks lol.
