But the Isles had the best goal tandem in the league to start the year
This and Brassard would be in the minor leagues if he played for the Islanders...

If you mean Yandle, he's from Boston. Though I'm not sure who you're talking about.
Did somebody actually say this was the worst game we played all year?

Thank you - was waiting for someone to post exactly this. Should be in the advance stat thread. I would also add the following:
In our forwards top nine we only have two players that have a shot first mentality. The rest are passers and probably one of the best in the league as a group. A lot of their scoring chance plays do not result in shots on goals because even in prime scoring situations they still look for an extra pass. Sometimes it's infuriating, it contributes negatively to shots for statistics but it works for this team and so it's fine. Our offensive defensemen are also pass first player and our two way Ds are not Webber's either.
There should be a statistic developed that takes into account offensive zone puck possession AND number of scoring chanes (not just shots) created per 60 min.

Strange. Kinkaid went to two of our development camps. After the second one he says 'To be honest I don't hate the Rangers anymore and really enjoyed taking part in their camps the past two years. I'd definitely even play there even if I am an Islander fan'.
Then he goes on to say that he hoped the Rangers would be one of the teams that would try to sign him when he finished at Union College.

Why the hate Keith?
Did anyone else see Ruutu slew foot Staal after the game was over while he was celebrating the win? That's ugly.
