He's been demoted to 4th line and has not been doing a whole lot in that role either. He did take a hard shot of the palm of his hand late in the game yesterday and was in considerable pain as he went to the bench. Don't know if his scratch is completely "coaches decision" or related to the hand.

EDIT: Per Twitter, Torts is saying it is a coaches decision and NOT related to an injury.
