To be "fair" they should have scored at least 2 goals last match. That being said, yes they are really small and need possession to be useful

This is obviously very preemptive, but isnt there a risk that having 2 pint sized forwards in the top9 is one too many ? regardless of how good a player they are

where the hell is this Rick Nash?? he stuck up for Stepan on this play. and yet no one stuck up for him in the Sharks game on the hit by Stuart... i can see why he does not care

There was also the Washington game in December when Nash went after Ovechkin, and no one followed up. No one.

The Carcillo trade happened the day after that.

You can't have your best forward getting into fights with a history of concussions. I admire Nash for stepping up, the guy did wear a 'C' in CLB for a reason.

I'd admire him even more if he scored some more goals, but it's the responsibility of other guys to step up.

This team is Euroleague soft and the whole league know it. All teams have to do is force the Rangers into a bunch of board battles and the Rangers speed/possession game is nixed.

The physically immature in the lineup can't win board battles, or net front battles. Hardly ever see scoring chances of the cycle, and 2nd and 3rd chance opportunities.

Of course stats don't lie when a team gets 40 shots from the perimeter however.

Yeah, its not like they have an all star in the middle that's adding to them. This is AV being stubborn and trying to get no show Brassard going by giving him two top 6 forwards to play with. Guy hasn't shown up in the last 3 weeks with the season on the line and AV's still trying to get his Quebecois buddy another contract.
