Serious snipe off the bar by Yandle. MSL a rare good game.

eh think MSL's game looks much better on the scorecard then he actually played. Most the game was very quiet.

I think Kreider screening the goalie had more to do with Yandle's goal then St. Louis pass, nice defensive play on the empty netter but would still say others had a better game

he also had a good chance when he hit the post on the back hand, I thought MSL was really noticeable tonight.

I just finished with the Flames and I'm done. It's not too rare.

Teams to have three goalies record a shutout in the same season:

2014-15 Rangers: Lundqvist, Talbot, Skapski

2008-09 Bruins: Fernandez, Rask, Thomas
2007-08 Bruins: Auld, Fernandez, Thomas
2007-08 Coyotes: Auld, Bryzgalov, Tellqvist
2003-04 Flames: Kiprusoff, McLennan, Turek
2002-03 Sabres: Biron, Miller, Noronen
1999-00 Coyotes: Burke, Essensa, Shtalenkov
1997-98 Bruins: Carey, Dafoe, Tallas
1996-97 Flames: Kidd, Roloson, Tabaracci
1987-88 Bruins: Kearns, Lemelin, Moog
1985-86 Sabres: Barrasso, Cloutier, Puppa
1977-78 Bruins: Cheevers, Gilbert, Grahame
1975-76 Bruins: Cheevers, Gilbert, Reece
1972-73 Bruins (four goalies): Adams, Brooks, Johnston, Plante
1970-71 Sabres: Crozier, Daley, Dryden

The St. Louis Blues have done it four out of the past 5 seasons.

I've been using Cult of Personality for awhile. Because the Rangers are basically CM Punk in hockey form.

Well for one thing the Islanders board is using Taylor Swift playoff avatars.

This game puts our goal differential at +48, which is now +4 ahead of the Lightning. Our differential in 2011-12 was +39.

Since when in the bloody hell do we let what those basement dwellers on the Islanders board dictate what we do?

That's all the more reason to utilize it even more. **** them.

Never.

This is how I expect the Rangers to play.

I knew them winning games 6-5 and 5-4 wasn't going to last. The Rangers are stacked on D and in goal but leave a lot to be desired on offense.

But we should still be able to get 3. There's gonna be games here and there where we actually give up 2 goals. Shocking, yes.

#Rangers have ten regulation losses in their last 49 games, and are 32-7-3 in their last 42 games. I'm not a math major. Is that good?

We're not going to score 4/5 a night like we were doing, but this isn't the Tortorella Rangers either, they will score goals in the playoffs.

Yeah the 4/5 a night thing was just a hot streak. I just don't want it to be like the Torts Rangers, "oh look other guys got 2 goals, see you all tomorrow."

Eh, what did we hit, 4 posts? It was far from beautiful but we had some good chances, just off by an inch or so.

They just popped 3 on Wednesday.

After the insane rate that they were scoring at last month they were bound to cool off considerably. I don't mind it at all since they're still winning games.

Their sticks will heat up again soon enough.
