FWIW I think at this spot, there is a significant drop off from the first 11, you can group the next handful of guys all kinda on the same tier.

Interesting that you guys are debating Meskanen vs. Pajuniemi, when I personally have:

Gettinger
Ragnarsson
Själin
Lindbom
Elmer
Aaltonen
Wall
Lettieri
Skinner
Edström
Ciccolini
Huska

Ahead of both.

Which is, of course, fine! Just funny how wide these things can swing.

It definitely gets a lot more wide open here. For me, there are six or seven guys with strong arguments for being the add at this point.

In no order:

Pajuniemi
Aaltonen
Gettinger
Meskanen
Sjalin
Ragnarsson
And maybe Skinner.

Quick Question. On the first page it has K'Andre Miller as staying in the same spot in the rankings, which is #4 and Lias Andersson as moving down 2 spots to #6. Were they tied at #4 in the previous poll?

Miller was #5 in the midseason rankings so he should be +1

really debated between barron and tarmo...tarmo has sky rocket up the prospect rankings this season but give barron the edge because due to injuries tarmo has really only had 1 big season since his draft but I predict that he will sky rocket the rankings again before the midseason...

it kills me that we aren't even up to keane & lindgren yet in my rankings...I think there is a great chance that these 2 will be our 3rd pairing down the road. its unreal #OurSystemIsInsane #InGortonWeTrust

If Reunanen wins this round that will be 4 LD in a row and we still have Lindgren. Those guys will all be in training camp along with Skjei and Staal and it will be interesting to see how the Rangers divide up the 6 preseason games between them.

Also Tarmo over Barron for me here. The drop will be AFTER we vote these two in.

Add Aaltonen.

I think Lindgren is in the conversation with these two. Lindgren doesn't have as high an end as Reuananen but he's probably a safer player as far as his position. He also brings an element of physical and gritty play. Other teams do not like playing against him--he gets under skins. He also paired with Fox on two successive USA WJC teams--so they have a lot of familiarity.

Lindgren shouldn't be considered part of any drop-off. He's a very good prospect, and he's very close to being ready for action. Maybe it's not here that he will have his career, but the same can be said for a ton of the other guys already on the list and waiting to be added.

You’re both right. Personally for me the excitement about our prospects drops off more significantly after Barron which is different from not considering Lindgren as a legitimate prospect. Same (maybe even more) goes for Keane as being a RD and having more potential offense in him. Don’t forget Gettinger too who continues to progress at each of the next level in his development defining the odds.
