We have seen it many times in NHL. BTW I saw Evander Kane in KHL. That was amusing

The thing with NHL guys going to Europe during lockouts is that they are on vacation and have no real reason/incentive to really excel where as players coming over to the NHL are trying to make it. That's not saying every good NHLer would be good if they were going full tilt in Europe, but we can't really judge based on what we see in lockout play.

Nice goal by Radulov... I hear he got hurt, is he out for any length of time?

Nice goal , saw the crowd or lack of one ... KHL isnt even on the same level as the NHL ( never ever will be) ... theres a better crowd at a oil kings game and thats WHL .... but hey to each his or her own

That was sick. He was very calm with the puck. Pulled off a few dekes and bam, in the back of the net.

Because that's relevant to the level of play and not the area.

Alex Radulov was able to embarrass NHL defensemen as a rookie. Unfortunately, his personality has made him a very undesirable player to have in the league. This does not take away from his skill, however. He is a very strong, skilled player.

This is a reel of all of his goals prior to his departure from the NHL in 2008:

That's just "Disgrace of Hockey Radulov" (as we call him on the KHL board) doing what he does.

To all those people saying that he couldn't have done that in the NHL.

Why exactly should he be playing in the NHL? Who can afford him in the NHL?

They can refer to post #38 for proof that he had already done this in the NHL several times. He's a great player with an extremely poor attitude. His personality makes him very easy to dislike, but there's no question he has talents many players could only dream of possessing. He uses his skill well when he thinks of himself as a goal scorer. In his last stint with the Predators, he was looking only to pass the puck.

If he didn't have such a questionable personality, he could be a very good player in the NHL. He presents himself as a thug and has seemingly poor sportsmanship, elements that certainly detract from his appeal as a player.

Nice goal, but not very noteworthy, it's not exactly against the best competition.

Pretty much any top 6 forward in the NHL can score goals like that in the KHL.

So funny when people try to belittle the KHL without actually watching the games:shakehead
Evandar Kane, the supposed "top 6" guy went to KHL and was a bust.
I am sure, you can't hack it in KHL, unless you have outstanding skating skills, and some top NHLers have issues with skating.

NHL fans are so protective of their league.

The KHL is a fantastic league. Of course it's not on the level of the NHL, but that doesn't make it bad. You don't hear football fans trashing other leagues. EPL, Bundesliga, La Liga. Great leagues with great talent.

This attitude is one of the reasons why ice hockey is such a niche sport.

Sick goal btw.

It is too bad that he had to have an annoying, curfew-loving type of coach when he was in the NHL. No wonder he got tired of it.

Every damn time KHL is mentioned in any sentence people find the way to turn it into a KHL vs. NHL discussion.

It was a awesome goal and it sure could happen in NHL, it has happened. It just is that when you see highlight reels about dangle goals it always seems like the defense is just pure crap.

They do trash the MLS though. Same with NFL fans trashing the CFL.

Although I do think it's cool that the KHL has some games at local arenas, even if the turnout isn't huge...Oh wait...
