So…experiment today. I cured a Brisket for 10 days, then rinsed and smoked for 8 hours.
Now today, steaming it for 5 hours before slicing for sandwiches.
My first ever attempt at Montreal Smoked Meat. Finished pics later!

When Covid hit i got into this style of cooking.

After seeing these pictures i feel i just just give up right now.

Looks awesome!

Hey my friend, I’ve been doing this a long time now, around 16 years doing this cooking. It’s a great hobby and lots of fun. If you ever want to chat or have questions, send me a message. Always ready to help out a fellow Oilers fan!

Thank you very much! We actually have 3 dogs. He is a malinois (very similar to a shepherd) this is him in an action shot. He’s 8 now. Getting to be an old man haha

I want a Belgian Malinois SO bad but Mrs 5 Min 4 Ftg says no and when she says no it’s no unless I do it anyway then it’s begging for forgiveness rather than asking for permission.
