Does anybody know the "Q" record for the most goals scored in a season BY AN AMERICAN PLAYER?

Hennessy had 42 last year, was that the most ever by an American player? Thanks for the expertise?

I dont know who had the most but in 82-83 Pat Lafontaine scored 104 goals and had 130 assists! Can't imagine too many better seasons than that

Yeah, LaFontaine's marks are easily the best for an American forward in the CHL.

LaFontaine was a great player. He was a pleasure to watch. Tons of heart.

More American "top scorers" in the "Q"

How about someone besides Lafontaine? Other Americans?

    Thanks.

There haven't been many high profile Americans in the QMJHL. Roenick played for one (part of one at least) season and put up 70+ points in about 20 or so games. Hennessey is one of a new breed of Americans finding some success there.

Jordan Lavallee might beat Hennessey's numbers from last year. Then he wouldn't
even be the highest scoring American on his own team.

The best ever by a 17 year old in the chl.Mind you
the overall scoring was much higher then but it is still one of the best seasons
ever played by a junior player.
