The number one goal of any AHL team is to develop players playing a system that will enable them to quickly make the transition from the AHL to NHL.
As we are witnessing in the Rangers' series, this goal has been accomplished with the outstanding play of Bartkowski & Krug.
For fans of the local AHL team it can be very disheartening as your dreams of a championship can be derailed when the parent club comes calling for injury replacements.
My hope for the Providence fans is that the Bruins' NHL sucess can help take away the sting of the loss in Providence.
As for all the flack that Svedberg is getting, didn't Rask have a rough go in the play-offs during his career in Providence and it has turned out alright for Tuukka.
