There is usually a banner on Sabres.com that discusses the game that night. Normally if you click it, you are led to a story.

But once the game goes "live" that link will redirect you to another with a play button.

We have generally allowed "illicit" links for pre-season games in the past as the "rules" for preseason NHL games aren't really a thing. For years, there was a .m3u8 that one could use in VLC for all preseason games.

We absolutely nuke links for regular season games though.

Sure. But they must know where he plugs in. I think they are going to go with their regular lineup the last game, so this is really the last little shot at evaluations.

Seems they are previewing some different looks for Rousek, Benson, and RyJo next to Sammy.

I am all for icing the best possible line up or do you want to be out of the playoffs by 1 point again because they tinkered around to see what they have?
if he wont be able to handle it for some reason come regular season you can still send him down after the 9 games or earlier.

I hope that no on the Sabres thinks this way. Competition is had for a reason. He’s winning the competition. Sends a terrible message to send back a better player to put off paying him and handing an opportunity to someone who didn’t earn it.
