Howard was in mid season form, the game was evenly matched and he was the biggest difference.
AA impresses me, no doubt ready to play NHL games this year and contribute.
Loved Ouellet's game, he plays with passion. And in just about every situation. I think if it was up to Blashill he'd get a jersey.
Jurco had exactly the type of game he needs, not just working hard but getting some production. Goal was a really slick play.
Mantha doesn't need much to get his shot off but right now he's not creating that space for himself. He needs to find a way to become visible, other guys stand out more as it stands.
Larkin stood out mostly defensively and backchecking, despite quite a bit of offensive minutes. Flying out there on the PK. I just think it will be in everyones best interest that he gets to score some AHL goals and get more offensive responsibility. He's NHL ready though, no doubt.
Miller really stood out on his line, in fact he made the line. All things considered he was probably the Wings' best forward in the game which you don't get to say often. Andersson is a safe card but Glendening should center him, we need top9 wing spots for others. How good would Miller-Glendening-Helm be?
Beyond that the Bruins have a gem in Pastrnak, he's insanely elusive and is just a kid. Will be hard to stop once he's got the strength to match his breakaway speed.
