Can't wait for Blash to win Jack Adams this year

He might actually get consideration based on his age and the accompanying "story line." But typically the Jack Adams goes to TEAMS which sucked the year before then sucked a lot less the next season. That hasn't applied to the Wings in over 2 decades so.....

Portland -> Netherlands
Honestly with the Toronto market I think the Jack Adams is Babcocks to lose. If he has a somewhat "successful" season he'll get it.

I would put Blashill as a dark horse. Other front runners I would say are McLellan in Edmonton, and Bylsma in Buffalo.

Can't see DeBoer, Hakstol, or Hynes making much of a splash.

I want to see the 4th line play

Here are the Red Wings' anticipated lines and defense pairs:

Tomas Jurco-Dylan Larkin-Tomas Tatar

Tyler Bertuzzi-Andreas Athanasiou-Anthony Mantha

Drew Miller-Joakim Andersson-Daniel Cleary

Zach Nastasiuk-Tomas Nosek-Mitch Callahan

Niklas Kronwall-Jonathan Ericsson

Xavier Ouellet-Alexey Marchenko

Brian Lashoff-Nick Jensen

Jimmy Howard (playing entire game)

Tom McCollum

Nosek, Jensen and Larkin all look good.

Bertuzzi set up Cleary in front but he flubbed the pass. Later on Daniel looked to be shaken up after a hit but I see he's back out there now. Not much work for Jimmy so far.

Actually Lashoff has looked decent....Marchenko, not so much. XO has been steady.

Larkin with a good pass to #11 out front who got nothing on his shot.

Miller denied by Rask.
