Pretty much none of us had seen Johnston play before he was drafted

Then he had an excellent traverse city tournament and is now continuing it so far into this game. There's reason to be impressed with him. His hockey IQ is fantastic it seems

I do hope we get to see him play a road game against some NHLers though

He's been pretty meh outside his first couple shifts. I don't think he has any shot of making the roster after this display and his Traverse.

Johnston's shot is pretty weak, needs to work on that.
