Bouchard has done a great job with Fleury to date.

No reason why Laval doesn't make the playoffs this year. No reasons at all. Evans with Barber and Varone. And there's a big chance Poehling and Suzuki starts there as well. And Brook. And Primeau. Geez...young but stacked.

I really believe Fleury stand a chance to start the season in MTL if Juulsen is not ready. He's a rock in the defensive zone even if he was paired with Ouellet.... He has been my biggest standout during the development camp and yesterday as well he was impressive.

Last year, they had the youngest team in the league by more than a year.

That's why i said quiet, wasn't a stand out….was okay, but it's not like i expect him to make the team this year.

Leave a full season in the AHL to Brook and he'll be fine. In no way was Fleury a better prospect than Brook. But he has something Brook doesn't have...more pro time. People downplay experience a lot, I don't know why.

Kulak had a quietly effective game paired with Brook. You can easily see the upside in Brook the consistency just isn't there yet but I'd like to see a few more games with at pace to see how he adjusts to the speed of the NHL. He did seem to get better as the game progressed.
