Agree to disagree. I’ve never seen the player you’ve seen against NHL bodies. He drives the play and sets up for partners. His shot is weak for now, but he isn’t in Kakko category.

He did it against us yesterday. I’m not ready to say he is nhl ready, but the talent is there, even if it’s very raw. And he was better than what Kakko was in the same time. I’m not ready to say he will be Rantanen, especially because of his shot, but I said from the beginning that mtl wasn’t good organization for him and his development.Agree to disagree. Kakko’s
Kakko category.
Kakko
It's probably been mentioned already, but I didn't realise this was Couturier's first game since 2021. Damn.
Atkinson as well, who missed all of last year cause of his back
Atkinson didn't play. He's still injured.
Ellis has a psoas injury and will likely never play again it basically ruined his hips and core musclesEllis too hasn't played since then and is probably done. They lost their 2 best players for 2 straight years
Is there any actual context for that (if he did say this)?Which is funny because he said himself that's exactly why he didn't want to sign the long term contract. Something about LTC making players complacent.

SlackerI don’t track the goals for the preseason
Softy of the night??? It's already the leading candidate for softy of the year.I don’t track the goals for the preseason or anything and I’m not about to start now, but Montembeault deserves a softy of the night for that Nemec goal.

One thing that sticks out :
He sees this 8-year deal as 8 1-year-deals.
I mean...whatever helps to motivate him to be his best, right?
okay...?That sounds like something his therapist would tell him to get him motivated.
okay...?
For argument's sake, let's say it is.
How is this a problem?
Atkinson didn't play. He's still injured.
They released the lineup early morning and then walked back on Atkinson, saying he has "soreness". No idea what thats supposed to mean given the Flyers' history of injury reports.
Probably the same thing as Luke's soreness...
Luke has practiced all camp and has played in the scrimmage so yeah, very much not the same.Luke was never walked back. It’s not same. At least not yet.
LOL I'm obviously not writing him off or anything. I just had heard about all of the progress he's made and was excited to see him plan in person.I think I remember that exact play. I had to check my eyes to see if it was really Holtz. I was impressed lmfao
He's not even old enough to legally buy alcohol yet. Relax.
If I was Fitzy I would have laughed and said "so does that mean we can opt out if you have a bad year?"One thing that sticks out :

Bratt would've been like Austin here :If I was Fitzy I would have laughed and said "so does that mean we can opt out if you have a bad year?"
