Oh yeah, there's a game tonight. Probably on tv, I think.

For your Vancouver Canucks: not Subban, Shinkaruk or Pedan. They're all in Utica now. Other than that, hopefully better players than yesterday.

For the Alberta Satan: people. Maybe we can beat some up.

GO CANUCKS!

Not that I really care either way, but our roster tonight should get at least one solid, even blowout, win tonight. Then can go winless for the rest of the preseason for all I care, but let's get an actual good game in, shall we?

I've got tickets to tonight's game, but the 'losing train' must choo choo on. I want us to do real bad this season. It is our density.

If the Canucks lose to this Flames lineup with the Sedins, Vrbata, Burrows, Horvat, Hamhuis, Edler and Tanev, then I will not watch a game all year.

No Sbisa! No Prust! No Vey! No Sven! YES!

I predict a goal tonight, damn, maybe two!

Expecting the line of Sven, Vey and Jensen to play against Edmonton on October 1st but they'll get manhandled by Eberle, Nuge and 18 year old McDavid.

What should happen:
Kenins takes Sven's place on the second line LW next to Vrbata and Horval.
McCann takes Vey's forth line centre spot.
Gaunce takes Prust's spot.
Hutton takes Sbisa's spot.

What will happen:
Vey centre's forth line next to Prust.
Hutton, Gaunce and McCann are sent down.
Kenins is 13th forward.

I hope this means they're just mixing up the pairings for the sake of it because of preseason and they're not actually considering breaking up our top pairing for no reason at all.

Anyone else think this line up would look better?

Maybe we can score two goals tonight? I don't want to seem greedy or anything but that would be nice.

Well to be honest, you actually are being pretty greedy man. I mean, two goals? Shouldn't one goal and all the grit and meat and potatoes on display be enough?

Sheesh.

The Canucks are going to win tonight. It would be silly to think otherwise. But I will be greatly amused if they get owned tonight.

I'm not opposed to the idea, if Corrado shows some jump. Hamhuis and Tanev would be a damn fortress together. So it wouldn't be as though we suddenly put Sbisa in the top four.

True, but at the same time Edler-Tanev is a proven commodity. That pairing was the team's rock last year and it will be one of the few bright spots this year. They are our definitive top D pair for the foreseeable future.

I agree but they have to be carefull with Edler. he could turn into a tire fire without Tanev.

hamhuis and tanev on the same line.

i swear to god it better be just a preseason thing. because of they want to actually go along with that and are planning to run it in the real season....
