Interesting chat on Locked on Flyers. Basically they are concerned that Fletch will basically end up losing Ratcliffe for nothing on waivers.

That would be on brand.

What are the odds that Deslauriers is *not* an every-game player this season?

Since they can easily carry 14 forwards, Ratcliffe should find a spot in there somewhere. Especially if Farabee and Couturier aren't playing the first game.

That Swedish tandem in goal of Ersson and Sandstrom may be what we see a fair amount this season if for some reason Hart can't play. Grossnick is an AHLer. Doesn't control rebounds very well. With Hart out and Fedotov jammed up in Russia, that surplus of goaltending talent sure dried up in a hurry.

Your problem is that you are looking at it logically....something mgt doesn't do.

Plus AA still could take a spot

If AA does get a contract,. then Laczynski would most likely start in the AHL.

Laczynski has shown nothing so far to merit a roster spot, in fact, J Cates is probably ahead of him.
But given the intensity of practice, they may not have their legs until the last two exhibition games, where final decisions will be made.

Zamula gets a look at RHD, barring a Sanheim/Provorov trade, not much future for him at LHD.

Tippett at LW would be to see how comfortable he looks there for future reference - it doesn't make much sense for Tippett and Willman both to play out of position other than evaluation purposes.

Lycksell - Laughton - Allison bear watching, Lycksell has looked good so far and has skill, speed and some tenacity.

1) Small sample sizes, especially preseason samples, are bad.
