Amazing 2nd period though and the Lehner was beastly.

He is still making a lot of dumb decisions, but now he's at least playing with his teammates and contributing. Nice to see.

He has to work on his pinches, though. He got owned by Roy and there were a few other times off the rush where he got caught a little too inside/outside his man.

I completely agree with this in general. The team didn't win with Lehner though, Lehner won it for the team. I'd give him another game.

I expected him to have had at least one bad game since returning but nothing

Once Methot comes back our D will be much better

He got walked by Roy today but other than that he was solid and has been ever since he came back from being scratched

Cowen beat himself on the Roy attack as he went too far to the outside and should have kept to the inside, goal side, but I suppose he was worried about Roy's speed.

Cowen has played well since returning from the bench and I hope his solid defensive play and positioning continues, except for this Roy incident.
