- Hiller is gone by the end of the season
- Byron is dealt at the deadline; Wideman too, if we're out of a playoff spot by 10 or more points
- McDavid will not score on us this season

1. Byron has 250 breakaways, and scores on 5 of them.
2. Ortio steals the starting job by December.

1. Hamilton really breaks out with us and puts up over 50 points, along with Gio, Brodie and Wideman leading to the highest scoring D in the league.
2. Johnny puts up 1ppg
3. Money gets over 55% on faceoffs for the year.

-Flames tank for Matthews
-Flames win the draft lottery

So the Oilers make the playoffs?

My predictions:

- One of Ortio/Hiller/Ramo is gone before the season starts
- Poirier makes the team out of camp
- Gaudreau and Monahan both come close to PPG
- Bennet outscores McDavid, but neither of them wins the Calder
- Brodie puts up more points than Gio or Hamilton and is a Norris finalist
- Flames lose both games at Honda center. On the night of 30 march, the place goes up in flames, burning completely to the ground. Noone ever finds out who´s responsible, even though people swear that they have seen a few guys dressed as superheroes walk away from the scene.
Flames then make it past Anaheim in the playoffs and are involved in an epic battle with Chicago for the Conference title.

and we are the team to officially eliminate them :naughty:

Honestly, the West is so tight that it wouldn't shock me. LA missed this year, Chicago while still very good, got worse this season. If they lose about 6-7 more games next year, that could be a playoff spot. Edmonton and AZ will be better, there's no easy games.

I agree, they lost 2 of their top 6 forwards this off-season, they are not as dangerous as they were a year ago. Luckily for them they were one of the top defensive teams last year (but how much of that was due to possession?), but they are a major injury away from missing IMO.

Totally, I think Dano will be good but will he make an impact next season. If one of Toews, Kane, Keith or Seabrook miss 15-20 games, it could be their season. We lost 8 games in a row and played excellent other than that stretch and barely made it.

Add Crawford to that list too.

1. Johnny Hockeh averages 2.66 GPG against LA, leading to abnormal levels of salt on the Kings board.
2. Giordano wins Norris
3. Gaudreau scores 40 goals.

1) Backlund and Gio play 75+ games
2) Joe Colborne is traded at the deadline after being made expendable by the emergence of Poirier and Arnold/Granlund (either or)
3) Drew Shore is not a Flames by the end of the season one way or another
4) Wideman STAYS all season and puts up 45-50 pts
5) Raymond has a semi-bounce back year, potting 20 goals.
6) Hiller gets outplayed by Ramo and Ortio.
7) Flames make a run to the conference finals, where we lose in 6

I had a dream last night about this and have a one more prediction. very detailed

After beating LA in 6 games in the first round, Calgary beats Anaheim in five games. The fifth game is in Anaheim and Garnet Hathaway scores the OT winner to eliminate the ducks and move on to the conference finals .

how is that a semi-bounce back year for Raymond? it would be the 2nd best year of his career.
