You know they had a worse record with mcdavid than without

And if we're going to give all the credit to a 1st overall pick being added to the line up, couldn't we say the Leafs are better simply because they added a 40 goal scorer and two other 61 point players?

Voters haven't voted yet, so therefore they must take into consideration play off performances when voting.

Can poor playoffs ruin the chances of a player winning? I.E Bobrovsky with his 3.49 GAA and his .897 SV%tage

On the flip side will a strong playoff performance trump a strong regular season I.E Karlsson vs Burns

I'm pretty sure votes were due by the start of the first playoff game. They just don't release nominees until later (probably next week would be my guess).

They've always been adamant that it's just regular season, not playoffs.

Selke finalists are supposed to be announced today

My guess is Bergeron, Kesler, Koivu

Calder is definitely Matthews', and I hate his guts.

Selke depends greatly on how much the voters like advanced stats, but I'd give it to Keller this year, whose guts I also hate.

Did they steal your girlfriend or something? Pretty pathetic to hate a decent player's guts. A dirty player? Sure.

All awards are voted on prior to the playoffs.
Top 3 finalists of each are named in staggered release throughout.
Winners announced on June 21.

Conn Smythe is the only one voted during the playoffs and that is done just prior to the completion of the final game of the series.
