Hart (MVP)

Vezina (Best Goaltender)

Norris (Best Defenseman)

Calder (Best Rookie)

Lady Byng (Best gentle player)

Selke (Best defensive forward)

Jack Adams (Best Coach)

Hart is McDavid's AINEC.

Vezina is more awkward with Dubnyk's faltering play towards the end of the year. IMO between him and Bobrovsky.

Norris is similar to the Vezina in that the clear leader fell off a little bit, but it's still Burnzie this year.

Calder is definitely Matthews', and I hate his guts.

Lady Byng obviously goes to one of Reaves or Martin. Lol who cares about this one?

Selke depends greatly on how much the voters like advanced stats, but I'd give it to Keller this year, whose guts I also hate.

There are many options for the Adams. My finalists are Tortorella, Boudreau, and Babcock.

Klefbom should win the Lady Byng - 6pims in 82 games played. Same stats as Brian Campbell when he won it in 2011

Gadreau has 4 PIM in 72 games and 61 points. I know there's a 10 GP difference, but at worst he would have likely had the same PIM over 82 games while putting up more points.

Why do you hate Matthews guts?

Lady Byng trophy is as "major" an award as the Masterson or King Clancy

Playing a high quality game with a level of sportmanship and respect in a physical and emotional game like hockey is an accomplishment.

And anyone who thinks negatively of this award, considering yesterday was the anniversary of the start of the Battle of Vimy Ridge I encourage you to maybe educate yourself and considering the timing....have some class.

Dubnyk has no chance at this Vezina. Bobrovsky will run away with it with Holtby coming in second. Price just about took Dubnyk out of being a finalist at the end.

Seriously, if Babcock wins Jack Adams, that's the biggest upset out of all trophies. Nominated, sure, but win it? Torts or Boucher will win it. Heck, even McLellan has a better case.

A coach that brought his 30th placed team to the playoffs with a team most thought would be bottom 5 this year would be considered an upset?

He's easily a finalist.
