Amadio might surprise this year, my boi. He aint gonna be a top-5 scoring threat, but he might have some of that secret sauce.

If he finishes with 40 points it wouldn't surprise me in the least, while at the same time I will be elated... we all will be (assuming he gets ~70 games). Same with AI, imo. I think both players have similar 40-55 pt ceilings.

But I don't want to derail my broski's thread

It’s all good brother. Any Kings chatter during the Summer to pass time is good with me.

That’s a lot of playmaking from Carts, Pawn. Me likey! Guessing a lot of those assists are due to Kovy/PP?

More virtue of the fact it's very hard to score more goals than assists. I'm sure it will be a combination of powerplay (he'll be on the first unit with Kopitar, Kovalchuk, Doughty, and someone else). He'll also be centering the second line which will have two of Toffoli, Pearson, Iafallo, Kempe, Vilardi.

Whether it's on the rush or people poking in his rebounds, it's not too unreasonable.

He's a fairly consistent 60 point/82 game player. The only point of contention is how those points will be spread.

Pawn, what is your high/low this year for Vilardi? Are you buying in to the massive hype? In the middle? Luke warm?

You trying to stifle discussion here is a ***** made move bro

Especially considering your seniority and post count. You should be all about these threads, not ***** made comments like the replied post here

It does nothing for our board and trepid lurkers. This forum is daunting enough

**** off if you have nothing to add, son.

“All these 30 goal scorers” like we’re saying an Iafallo, or even Pearson is gonna pot 30.

GTFO

Oh sorry, I'm not encouraging the hopes and dreams that this team will suddenly be a strong offensive team out of nowhere.

Here's my top 5
Kopitar
Kovalchuk
Carter
Brown
Toffoli

No one gets 30 goals.

I am a big fan, but my expectations are tempered (at least I think they are).

I would not be discouraged if he had a 5g, 10a, 15 point season. I would be disappointed if he did worse than that, but obviously it's too early to call him a bust. He doesn't turn 19 till August.

That said, when it comes to prospects, there's more to it than points. I expect him to create opportunities for himself and others. If he plays his game and generates offense, then he will make progress.

I would much rather him have doughnuts on the scoreboard but play his game than putting up points while finding his identity. That's what is most dangerous to a young player.

I think Vilardi gets like 30 points, but that's kind of offensive IQ and talent is a HUGE boost to the bottom six, especially with a puckhound like Iafallo being forced down too.

Kopitar 24-55-79
Carter 33-30-63
Doughty 12-48-60
Kovy 28-28-56
Brown 25-29-54

Cool thread, ibleedkings, my brother. Here's my Ozzy shot in the dark

Kopi 38-58-96 (Selke, 3rd)
Kovy 27-38-65
Doughty 16-49-65 (Norris, 2nd)
Carter 30-30-60
Brown 25-30-55

Look at this guy with his predictions.

You think Kopitar will outscore Kovy by 31 points?
I could easily see Kovy hitting 70+ points depending on how well the PP clicks this year.
