I like what I was hearing from Lindholm as well. After being called out by Brindy last year, he made an effort to improve his strength and conditioning and it paid off. He's still not happy with his game though.

“Overall it’s a step in the right direction,” Lindholm said of his play this season. “I still feel I have lots to work on. I’m not happy with where my game is at.

“Obviously I had 11 goals and that’s not good enough. I play the power play and a lot of minutes, so 11 goals is not good enough. That’s something I’ve got to work on and be up around 20, maybe even higher.”

The way Lack reacted also to the call out, seems like the guys are willing to put the time in. I hope Turbo hangs out with Lindy in the offseason.

I think Seabass could get 60 points next year. He had a couple 5-6 game stretches where he looked gassed, the kind of stuff you would expect from a rookie. Just a little more consistency would get him there.

I don't expect Skins to have another 37 goal season. But he's maybe the only guy I look at on the roster and think, he's probably at his absolute peak. Everybody else, seems like there's room for improvement. Even Jordan, at 28, has room to grow his offensive game a bit.

In Skinner's 7 year NHL career, he's averaged 30 goals / 82 games. Health will likely dictate how many Skinner scores next year. In his 4 seasons where he did not sustain a concussion he's averaged 34 goals / 82 games played. In the 3 seasons where he sustained a concussion, he's averaged 23 goals / 82 games played.

If he's healthy, he's very likely to put up between 30-35 goals. If he gets more productive on the PP, he could put up closer to 40. Since he's entered the league, he is #10 in the NHL for goals scored at even strength. More ES goals since 10/11 than Crosby, Seguin, Benn, Neal, Carter, Pavelski, Malkin, Duchene, etc... On the PP, he 39th in goals scored since 10/11, just ahead of Tyler Bozak.

Skinner scored 37 goals and was 6th in the league. There were only 3 40 goal scorers in the league this year. This is the same thing that happens with "40 goal scorer" Phil Kessel, who has never scored 40 goals in a season. I would be absolutely stunned if Skinner scored 40 goals in a season. Hell im surprised he scored 37, it's an amazing accomplishment in today's game.

It's a definite possibility. In a recent interview Francis said he had thought Saarela may have actually made the team this year, but that the surgery he got messed up that opportunity.
