maybe its from lack of seing him play... but I havent been overly impressed with Chipchurra.. Looks like a poor mans Ladd with better leadership qualities (from what I've heard) Do people think he's a lock ? I think he's on the bubble.

If I had to choose between the two to be on the Nucks, I would take Chipchura over Ladd. They're basically the same player, but Chip is a Centre.

I consider Chipchurra to be a lock for nothing else but is attitude and never say die work ethic. Exactly the type of player Suter wants on the team, and his offensive game has been quite under-rated. He was on pace for a great year in the WHL before that freak injury. Perfect 2nd or more likely 3rd line center ala Mike Richards.

Does anyone think that any one of Pouliot, Brule or Barker could be in the NHL by december?

Every year a couple players graduate instantly (Staal, Horton, Bergeron, Zherdev, Michalek, Nash, Bouwmeester, Pitkanen, Bouchard...)

If Malkin is in the NHL I'm not sure he'll be released to play.

I should hope he is...one would think losing almost every game as a Penguin would be a soul crushing experience. Frankly, good as he is, he's not going to singlehandly turn that franchise around next year at age 19, so why not let him go for a few weeks?Whats the worst that could happen, they lose all their games by three goals, not two?

Brule has stated he will play another year with the Giants.

Barker could be in the NHL.

Pouliot, no way.

Cogliano and Reddox are two guys who were very good in the U-18's in their respective years that have a solid chance.

CSKA MoskWTF?
Something tells me Pelech - Calgary's 1st rounder this year - will get a long look at camp. Its called the Sutter-connection, and its why Dustin Boyd stayed as long as he did at last year's camp.
