For this month I’ll be a pessimist and say key injuries will happen. And we limp out of November with a record of 5-8-2

There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call the Twilight Zone

We have angered the hockey gods with Bogo not hurt yet. We must pay.

I don't remember if I made a prediction in the October thread, but they exceeded my expectations, even with a few serious stinkers. I will be optimistic and say 8-4-3.

Housley cost the team 2-3 points in October, and still isn’t showing he understands his roster.

I’d say 7+ wins if the organization realizes who its 18 best skaters are, and slightly under .500 if we still have to endure dumb player selection.

Does that include the AHL? Was just curious if you feel any of those 18 are in the minors.

Pilut and Olofsson definitely should be more in the mix than Thompson is, but it’s just as much about treating ERod better than Sobotka, and not rushing to play Mittelstadt - who is neither producing nor driving underlying play - in a 2C role.

I would like to see Nylander, Pilut and Olofsson given a chance to stick but I also worry that Housley has them playing 8 minutes a game on the 4th line.

I guess we will see what November holds

0-4-1 during the stretch of Van to Pit has this place going bonkers.

Nice 5-1 stretch right after to right the ship.

13-10-4 heading into December. Still in the WC mix!!
