One good thing though it seems that they have replaced Gary Glitter with Gold on the Ceiling for the goal song, good move IMO. The "hey you suck" chant is dying on me and especially annoys me at the end of the game when we are in essence chanting it at our own team if we win as the opponents have left the ice by the time the chant begins.

Dont count on that being true once the regular season starts. They have done different goal songs in preseason before only to revert to ILIILI and R&R#2 once the games start counting

Holy crap!!! I never knew this about Gary Glitter. I knew he faced the death penalty in Vietnam for something lewd and was cleared. After looking up what he did both there and England, you have to wonder why any sports arena or team continues to play his music. Unless he does not own the rights to it anymore. The guy should be rotting in jail. I'm sorry about high jacking the thread a little but this was shocking to me.

I liked what I saw from him last year in a limited amount of time. If he continues to improve from what he did last year I could easily see him on the 3rd pairing for 2015-16.

Diaby plays one year in the AHL. He either goes to Nashville or another NHL city.

That old garbage was horrible and needed to be retired. Sadly, Tim McGraw is still the lead-in, hopefully they'll get rid of that part soon too.

If true about retiring Rock&Roll Part 2, I will send a thank you not to the Preds front office. Hate that we celebrate using a pedophiles song...and it makes no sense to chant You Suck! when our team is taking a victory lap after a win. Just stupid.

Very nice. The crowd effects definitely give it a better perspective than just listening to the song.

First camp I have missed in years, but my new position doesn't allow me to go the rink whenever I want.

Based on what I have heard, I think FF9 makes the big squad to start the year. Seems like we have drafted some pretty talented youngsters, but I am wary to get too high on them. As always, camp is different from playing actual games.

The Diaby comments are interesting, but you really got to question his legs based on scouting reports. He needs more time to brew before we throw him into the swimming pool.

Was Leipsic with them? Those 3 were kept together on Friday and I remarked about the chemistry then also.
We know FF will be good, but I think Kamenev is our future #1 C.

Without the rookies looks like there are three roster spots open with Fish on the IR. Have to think Hook gets one. If Beck gets a one way contract which I think Poile will do after he was forced to play in Milwaukee last season that leaves Fish's IR space for another rook. Im not sure FF will get the call a case can be made for Mosier and Sissions. I don't expect Foresberg to really be considered until next summer.

Nope. Diaby finished his season with Milwaukee last year after his time with the Tigres finished. Played 4 games for Milwaukee.

In the third they switched it up and put Leipsic with Forsberg instead of Kamanev. Leipsic and Forsberg both still looked good, but not as good as Kamanev and Forsberg, imo.

Kamenev didn't play in the third, overtime, or shootout so I wonder if he had an early flight back to Russia? Otherwise his line of him Leipsec and Forsberg dominated play
