I really like that play by Gaudreau. Quick puck movement on the PP is more important than careful puck movement. He takes a chance on that pass and even though it doesn't work out, the speed of the play doesn't allow the Preds time to defend it in a controlled manner. Quick puck movement leads to either a chance or a loose puck, whereas slow puck movement leads to a chance or a giveaway. And on the PP, you have a good chance of coming up with loose pucks.
