We are building up good young talent then tearing down their confidence and playing trash veterans and try-hards over them.

When we win a playoff series under Hextall we can talk about what we are building.

There’s no evidence that any of the prospects have been hurt by our handling of them. If anything, the fact they’re mostly panning out means we might actually be doing the right thing to hold them back.

I don’t entirely agree with that myself, but it’s very clear that even with Hak we’re improving every year and now is the point we should (and will) win a play-off series. It’s time, as evidenced by the signing of JvR.

Hagg, Amac, and Frolin will all struggle just as much but will never have shifts that good
