I was under the impression that the second line is going to be:

Lander - Draisaitl - Yakupov

That is, based on what I read and heard.

Edit: Seems I was mislead... the Oilers website lists the lines as shown.

Pouliot-RNH-Eberle
Yakupov-Lander-Draisaitl
Korpikoski-Letestu-Hendricks
Slepyshev-Yakimov-Christoffer

McLellan might want to see Yak on his left as its not something he has seen. He can always cross over to the right for a one timer too but having Drai on the right makes sense as that's where he does most of his play making

They switching Yak to the left? Interesting. Not much success before but honestly not much success period so may as well.

Hopefully hockeystreams will have the TSN3 feed and not the Oilers website.

I checked my channel guide on TELUS Optik TV and it shows the Oilers and the Jets on channel 1108, hopefully this is correct as that last game stream was turrrrrrible!!!

Same haha it kinda bugs me how it's blacked out to people from Edmonton when the game itself is in Edmonton but whatever. Here's to hoping it shows on TV! :yo:

Yup. I just heard it on the Oilers site from McLellan's interview. He said Yak on the left side, which somewhat surprised me.

Should be interesting.

Oh. Here's some GDT old school tuneage for you Winnipeg fans:

yeah, TSN3 blacked out but appears to be on a center ice channel.

Of course time will tell. we'll see what happens come game time.

Won't even bother trying to stream. it was just too annoying last time.

I'd like to see Yak or Draisaitl on RNH's right wing. That way Eberle would be free'd up to play on the Hall-McDavid line. Purcell just won't cut it on that line, I think.

Oh God, its blacked out for me in Cape Breton. What the hell is the point? It isn't like I have another local option to watch instead. Could have an extra set of eyes on their sponsors... Plus, I live rurally so my internet is garbage for streaming.

This **** has got to end at some point.

How are regional blackouts beneficial to the NHL and NHL franchises?

Is it because they squeeze more money out of TV deals that way?

It seems pretty illogical, especially preseason.

They want all the money they can get.

Ordering center ice to watch tonight's game.

I always wonder the same thing. I mean, I know it's all about money in the end...but the whole idea of blackouts just seems so...outdated.
