Yikes, if Brassard misses the first month of regular season, and it takes him another to get back to normal, it could hurt us in the standings down the stretch. Hopefully White and Pageau can sort of hold the fort in the meantime unless we go and get someone else this summer.

Pageau can hold his own as the 2nd line centre don't you think? He will have two good wingers & I imagine White should be able to play a 3rd or 4th line role as a checking centre for a month or so. They may even just put Smith at centre too which he has proven he can play effectively. This team may not have a legitimate #1 centre in a lot of people's eyes but they have a few centres, it's a strength in this organization, that can play up a line for a period of time.

Behind you, look out
I had the same/worse injury than Brassard did.

I broke my Glenoid, tore my Labrum, tore my rotator cuff, dislocated my shoulder.

When I met with the specialist he told me that if I was young and athletic they would perform surgery to speed up recovery and to help reduce further chances of repeated injury, but since I am not (he practically called me old and lazy, kinda true) that I could just wear a sling for 3 months and then rehab it for a further three.

At the end of the first three months my rehab consisted of ultrasonic treatment to reduce scare tissue and slowly moving my shoulder in a hot shower. Then I progressed to using a rubber band thing.

A month into rehab I was 95% and I was just following paper instructions. He will have personal trainers and rehab specialists working with him daily.

I am sure that he will be back before puck drop.
