He was actually a 2-way force in the single game he played this season. Hit everything that moved, backchecked, had 2 goals 1 assist and tried to fight Hanifin after he checked Connor.

Laines contract is up this year and he’s making $6.75m right now, how much is JK Willing to go? I’d be surprised if Laine is wanting to forgo his first UFA contract by to play where he wants by signing long term. I’ve seen it mentioned about maybe trying to get barkov to go with him....I can’t see that happening unless we can get someone to take cams contract, that’s such a bad contract considering we have to pay him $6m for 5 more years
