If we play Boston in Round 2 I might get to a playoff game

Since the new playoff format, has a WC switched conferences and been the representative in the conference finals?

My guess is that Nashville did that a couple of years ago. Weren't they the 8 seed in the West and made it all the way to the finals?

I was wrong. Nashville was the 8 seed but Chicago was the 1 seed so they stayed in the division for the playoff seeding.

Only 5 teams finished with more wins than us. The Leafs weren’t one of them which I find pretty funny.

The loser point is a bitch. Also, the western conference can screw off. If we were over there we’d be in the WCF fairly easily.

6 Seasons ago, our second playoff appearance ever, we got in with 93 points. We were WC1. Detroit was WC2 at 93 points as well.

2nd and 3rd in the metro were 96 and 94 points.

In fact, here's where 98 points what have put us in every year since 2013-14.

2013-14: Metro 2nd seed
2014-15: WC2 (we'd have tiebreaker over PIT)
2015-16: Wc2
2016-17: Wc2
2017-18: Metro2

And if we stayed in the Western Conference central division 98 points would have gotten us here.

2013-14: Wc1
2014-15: Out
2015-16: WC1 (87 points was WC2 WTF)
2016-17: WC1
2017-18: WC1
2018-19: WC1

These stats mean nothing, but I found them interesting.
