Kinda what I was thinking. Does nothing for either team.Awful trade for both teams.
Malkin to Montreal does nothing for them?Kinda what I was thinking. Does nothing for either team.
They need to rebuild. Not perpetuate the idea that they're a contender.Malkin to Montreal does nothing for them?
Not to argue, but a team that hols both Price's and Weber's contracts is going to have trouble rebuilding. They need to rebuild. Not perpetuate the idea that they're a contender.
I get that. But that's the direction they should go. Bide their time with those 2 and see when the tipping point between worth/not worth it.Not to argue, but a team that hols both Price's and Weber's contracts is going to have trouble rebuilding.

Actually, you are correct...both the Nylander for Weber and this proposal are completely unrealistic.Yes he does if there were no subtractions. Kind of like Adding Weber to the Leafs without giving up Nylander

this involves the 2 teams I hate the most so my verdict is totally unbiased... but I'd take Weber's contract over Letang's any day of the weekTrue.
But still I'd want an asset just to take on Weber's awful contract. Maatta for Galchenyuk would make more sense imo.
Both have 8 years remaining!I get that. But that's the direction they should go. Bide their time with those 2 and see when the tipping point between worth/not worth it.
ouch. it's a no from me.to pittsburgh: weber+galchenyuk+montreal first round pick 2018
to montreal: malkin+maata
