I feel like Kessel holds more value than that. I admit it don’t know much about Wood but my initial thought is not enough coming to Pitt.

I would love Miller on Pitt, and I am of the belief we should trade Kessel... just not this deal.

He had a breakout year in 17/18, then regressed a little bit last year. Very high energy, very fast, plays with a lot emotion, very physical. Some NJ fans (including myself) feel that he has major upside, and won't offer him up lightly in trade proposals. That said, he's far from a guarantee.

Streamline this:

:devils
Phil Kessel
-Devils get a legitimate goal scorer.

:pens
2019 NJ 2nd Round (34th OA)
Lower of BOS or NSH 2019 2nd Round
John Quenneville

-Pens get 2 quality picks, B Center Prospect, and shed roughly $6million in cap space.
I was reading this and waiting until I saw something of value coming back to Pittsburgh and it never happened.

Hall for Simon, a 2nd, (49th~) And next year’s second (62nd) and Adam Johnson?

As for OP’s Trade, I don’t hate it but I also don’t love it. Wood is intriguing and I like Miller. Would like possibly a pick back as well but I’d think hard about it
