MB did this because Bouchard asked for it, no doubt about it as he clearly was not happy with their play and after benching them the other night he's at risk of losing the rest of the vets as they are in a major slump right now and went from looking like they would finally make the playoffs to looking like they might end up last place in the division again.

also I added AHL trade to the title to save people from clicking on it that don't know this is 2 AHL players going to Laval for 2 AHL players going to the Pens AHL team.

I thought Blandisi looked decent when he was given a chance with the Pens. He brings energy. Barber is from Pittsburgh so it's cool that he's coming to his childhood team so there's that. but overall its an AHL deal

Looks like it makes WBS better, so happy days.
Blandisi's been good for his role in the NHL this season. If he's Montreal's 4C next season or after a trade, you probably won't hate it. If he improves a little, might even like it.
Lucchini's a kinda forgettable college guy who flashed a little something in his tryout last season but never got going this.

Blandisi was passable this year in his call ups are these Montreal dudes capable of playing in the NHL at all?
I feel bad for Blandisi he also was called up and sent back like 19 times he got used to traveling the PA turnpike quite well

Fun fact about Blandisi, at one point this year because of being called up and sent back down multiple times he actually played in hockey games (NHL and AHL) 4 straight days. Alternating between the two teams and having to drive back and forth for each one. The 4th day was actually with the big club and he played well. Pretty impressive
