Curious as to the feelings towards this show. Like/Dislike?

How many here listen and if so are you an every episode listener?

To me it’s the only real outlet for Coyotes specific news outside of this forum. I have some other thoughts as well but curious to see the group reaction.

I'll typically binge a dozen or so episodes in a week, then ignore it for a month or two. Enjoyable show, but it sits in that weird middle place where it's informative and entertaining, but it's less informative than reading this forum and it's less entertaining than Chiclets.

I listen to most of the episodes and some of the posts games, etc.

-I appreciate that we have it. We could be stuck with those awful locked-on, fan-blog style terrible podcasts.

-I really like Craig Morgan. Big fan. Except when he talks about politics, which I really wish he wouldn’t. But, he’s on my good side 90% of the time.

-I’m a subscriber and I support, even bought some merch for myself, and my family.

-I like that Leah Merrill seems nice and that she’s obviously a Coyotes fan. It would be great if she was like a coworker or a friend who was a fan I could chat with here and there. She’d make a fine HFBoards poster.

-I have no idea how she got this job or how she’s qualified for it. She doesn’t seem to know much more than the average Twitter fan. I don’t mind that she had the job because she is likable. But it irks me a tad that she seems to have no reason to be on the show. She did like student media stuff in college for the UofA team. And I think retail maybe before that? Like just a teenagers job. This seems to be her first actual job. Which is weird. I guess her mom was like a lawyer or an accountant for the team or something like that?

-Petey is a nightmare. He’s usually drunk on the post games. He’s slurring and incoherent. He whines constantly. He has a bad attitude about everything. And his opinions are shockingly bad and almost always wrong. I can’t believe he actually worked for the team. And for so long. It’s truly mind blowing. He’s a sloppy, whiny, negative, over confident fool. And might be part of the reason the coyotes sucked for so long.

-I like Craig. And I like the PHNX Coyotes part of the company. But whenever any of the other sports personalities from the brand are around, I really dislike them. It’s like knock off, college liberal, barstool sports wannabe stuff. I don’t like it.

-I like Craig. He’s great. We’re lucky to have him. Leah is fine because she’s nice and is a Yotes fan. I can tolerate the weird company/brand because they don’t interfere too much. Easy to overlook.

-Petey is a real problem. He’s a boat anchor.

This echos my thoughts. They're a minute behind these boards and I already watch other podcasts for entertainment. Mostly Steve Dangle, Chris Johnston and 32 Thoughts. It's very heavy Leaf leaning chat but damn good content.
Like rt said, I'm glad we have it. I thought it was great having BA on recently.

I rarely listen but most times that I do I feel like it's a forgotten resource that I should appreciate more.

I agree that Craig is the one bringing value to it.

I like them. They help me get through tough blowout losses and sometimes give legitimately interesting insights on how certain guys and prospects are faring. They also combat the anti-coyotes crowd sometimes, which is nice.

Steve peters is my least favorite though.

I assume there's some sort of platform size conversion rate thing for sponsors. IE smaller platforms (like a Coyotes hockey podcast) are much more likely to have direct conversions into customers for more niche products (or in the case of sports betting, well, sports fans) via promo codes and such than bigger name products like the BMW example.

BMW markets for prestige and brand awareness, Jim's Weiner Pills markets for direct sales.

A pretty good example of this is the company Ring. Before it was bought by Amazon, Ring advertised on all sorts of podcasts big and small. Amazon bought it and well they quit doing that

Right but it’s not Cowboy Pete’s Used Cars or Fannie’s Beef Jerky, or Sun State Oil & Lube, or Diamondback Restoration Specialists, or Mitchell & Sons Tax Services - it’s all gambling, booze and weed, and boner pills. Kinda strange.

Also, why are all podcasts sponsored by gambling, alcohol, marijuana, boner pills and nutsack shavers?
I evaluate the virtue of my weekends based on whether or not I check off 3 of these 5 boxes by Sunday morning. A degenerate's bingo card.

And companies that generally face FCC hurdles advertising on television and that know damn well who their target audience is.

I like the show. Try to listen to as many as I can.

The best content for me is when they have guests on.

When craig is absent or late it’s all just a four peaks advertisement. ”- I love the pumpkin lager and the rose garden special edition”, Petey. Pumpkin beer? Wtf?!

At this time Petey has generally had 3x the beer count he claims and starts talking about goalies from Michigan.

Craig is great, Leah is doing a good job.

Petey has grown on me. His sighs and negative attitude in general have gotten humorous at this point.

It’s our only outlet for accurate coverage.

Leah giggles way too much and talks like she's a teenager babbling w/her gal pals
Petey continuously is a tangent magnet, anything is open

Yes, I like Morgan because he's the only professional in the group and provides content. I will however watch when they do have guests that provide good content.

You have it wrong. Bill’s Weiner Pills isn’t into direct sales. Bill’s Weiner Pills is targeting small markets which can grow hard and fast into significant markets. It’s all about expanding the market.

I catch the highlights on Twitter, but otherwise, don't watch. In general, I don't listen to or watch any podcasts.

Agree with a lot of sentiment in this thread. Glad it’s not just me.

Craig makes the podcast. Take him out and I wouldn’t listen. Lately though it’s been more difficult to listen to all the garbage just to wait for that one rare nugget of info. Whining about wins (worse lotto odds), trade rumours, other reporters, etc., is just annoying.

I don’t mind Leah. Seems like a nice person and she can produce a podcast. Two ticks on her side of the ledger. Another is she’s not a pretentious bastard like the former co-host, Jamie Eisner. It is shocking though the knowledge gaps of things that predate her. Events and players and how to pronounce their names. You’re a hockey fan but have really never heard of this stuff?

Petey is just a downer. So pessimistic. A negative Nancy. The grumpy old man schtick is tiring. Then you get into some of his bizarre takes. I’m all for difference of opinion but most of these are too much. Wanting to waive Keller and Schmaltz a few years back was the icing on the stupid cake.
