The Angels are terrible and there isn't much help on its way. I could see them trading him in a few years.

Angels are in the position the Phillies were three years ago, except the Angels had little success with the core

Not really. I've read that the Angels' farm system is much worse than the Phillies' was at its worst. They've got a stud like the Phillies didn't have, but they can't trade him. They need to rebuild through the draft and FA. And hope that their pitching finally gets healthy.

Yeah, we'll probably trade for Trout and sign Harper in 2018. Odds are 827481919274729192747 to 1.

I agree, we all know what morgan is going to do, need a change.

morgan fb is to flat, he needs to be sent down to work on something, or released. he be the real version of ryan dunne from that movie summer catch

Maybe he's just a bullpen guy. The fastball velo could play up with a smaller workload.

stat of the night

ross HR exit velocity was 106 landed on waveland ave, on a changeup that is incredible. thats where it should land on a FB, but a changeup is nuts. Nothing morgan threw no one was fooled by it.

eikoff - needs to be sent down to AAA and develop a extra pitch and show command.

Morgan - needs to become a relief pitcher, he is ok through the lineup first time but 2nd or 3rd time thru lineups, the hitters are teeing off. I would send him back down to AAA to work on some things, and show better command or if all doesn't work cut him.

we should bring up the 2 pitchers that are dominating along with crawford, let see what they can do and get them some mlb experience.

Throw at him, miss him, your ace gets the boot and he hits a grand slam. I'd call that a successful night

Well if there is one chance of beating the Cubs it's with Valasquez.

I know we need offense, but I wouldn't mind seeing klentak seeing if he can get rich hill. He is having a nice year and I think billy bean will trade him. not sure what it would cost but it shouldn't be anything crazy. He be a nice upgrade to morgan.

If we do get him, I would like to see them sandwich him in betwee nola and vasquez have a right, left, right.

Just hope he can continue to pitch like this for at least 3 more good year, he is 36 , I know that is starting to get up in age, but as I said he should be good for 3 more or better.

I am pretty vehemently opposed to trading away any assets for help only for this year. If for example, the Brewers were trading away Braun and he came at some discount relative to the fact that he seems to be aging rapidly (post-PED) and owed a lot of money, I might consider it, because of our fiscal obligations and the fact that he could anchor the line-up while we compete and build... a la what Werth did for the Nats while they were improving.

I would guess that the cost would be prohibitive, but I want something that's a multi-year benefit or not at all.

Rebuilding teams don't trade for 36 year old pitchers...especially ones that are starting again after 7 years of being a reliever
