The fact that Commissioner Silver was in attendance probably will spur that rule change along. I get why the Wizards did it, but I just can't stand that type of play. Yes, it's within the rules, but it's kind of a chicken**** way to play the game. Maybe I'm coming at it from a different point of view given that we were the ones affected by it but it just ruins the game, in my opinion.
Regarding Simmons shot, I'm not too sure about how much better it's going to get. As Bodner has been talking about recently, I'm not sure it's going to get too much better unless he's willing to overhaul his form. The release is a bit too long, the elbow is all over the place and the trajectory is really flat. I think he's an absolute stud player but if he wants to become one of the top 3 players in the game, he's going to need to do some more extensive work on that shot IMO.
