The Flyers also have bizarre organizational depth at RW (and nowhere else). Look at this shit:

...that's 7 NHL RWs. and Michkov is floating out there somewhere, he'll be at the top of the heap whenever he makes it over from Russia. so some of these guys gotta move left or get gone.

Brink and Foerster are younger with a much higher ceiling than Wade, and it's looking like either only one is getting a roster spot or the two will rotate minutes. Just no room for Allison—not a bad player.

I think Wade Allison would be an upgrade over Tyler Pitlick. I mean they're similar players, similar point productions, similar sizes, but Allison is 6 years younger.

A rebuilding team decided it was a good idea to sign Garnet Hathaway and lock him into the lineup, thus forcing out at least one kid. Looks like that kid is Allison.

Wade Allison has lost a lot of games to injury which means he has had trouble getting into a groove the last few seasons.

Getting back into game shape between injuries has to be difficult as well.

Wade has a good shot, his skating leaves a bit to be desired but it’s passable for a bottom 6 winger.

It’s a very real possibility that Allison could be claimed as his cap hit is only $785k, this could be one of those things where losing Allison to waivers might come back to bite if Wade can stay healthy and carve out a decent career in the NHL.
