The 4th line was quite good today. They created chances and pressure. They shouldn't have been on the ice for the Malkin goal though. 4th line+3rd pairing against Malkin is never a good combo.

great performance? after the first period we played pretty bad, lots of giveaways and still no P0 after almost a year. way to lose in our own end and in three games against Pittsburgh we scored 5 goals and four in 1 game. Need lots of changes still.

That would actually be quite clever. Nothing to lose in that situation.

Plekanec "slashed" the Pen player as he was skating by, but surely the stick was already cracked or something because it was hardly anything and it just exploded.

Players are lacking confidence and scared to make a mistake. Pittsburgh is the same way with 2 of the best players in the game.
