Tittle say it all
Not a fair poll for Pettersson
Should be a very close poll. I'll homer vote for Marner because he's more proven at this time. Unreal snipe by Petterson last night.
Uh it's more than fair.
A rookie playing his first NHL game vs a star player playing at an even higher level than the season previous?
69 points is star now? Marner still has a lot to prove
Marner until proved otherwise
Double birds for a stupid poll.
The Canucks haven't had a player score 69 or more points since 2015 .
Marner also had 9 points in 7 playoff games.
He could very well put up 80-90 points this year on a line with Tavares and running the Leafs powerplay.
Where is the star player in this poll?
How many star players are in the league in your opinion?
Right now I'd say Marner but it's closer than Leafs fan would like to admit.
Marner because he has 2 years experience of playing in the NHL, his stats improved during his sophomore season and he lead the Leafs in scoring.
I'd say right now Marner is better. Going forward I take Pettersson though, reason being he's 2 years younger.
Pettersson looks to have similar potential entering the league and perhaps a bit more since he seems like he'll be able to be a center and likely has more room to fill out into his frame, but at this point Marner has shown too much not to take him
I laugh at those who say Leafs fans overrate their players and yet here is Marner going up against someone who just played their first NHL game.
So Pettersson is worst than Kapanen? 69 nhl games> 1 nhl games
Marner is the right answer, Pettersson is the anti-Leafs answer. Close poll of course
What every Leafs fan says when a poll isn't going their way.
I wonder if there is a way for your account to automatically post this in every Leafs poll that isn't going your way? I mean that way you don't have to type it out everytime.
It been one game, just relax on the EP, I like him just as much as anyone else but let the kid play a season
Pettersson is the right answer, Marner is the homer-leafs answer. Close poll of course
Pettersson. You take the Franchise Centre over the winger. Just like you take Matthews over Boeser.
Who knew all you needed was 9 minutes of NHL hockey before you're a franchise centre
Who knew all you need is a career high 69 points to be considered generational?
Separate names with a comma.
