On the subject of Kinkaid and the backup role here in Jersey.

I hope that Lou and Pete give him an honest chance to win that job.
He's 25 years old and does not have to be coddled anymore.

They must give him 1 full preseason game and if in camp they deem that he's our better option over Clemmer, then give him a start early in the regular season.
Get him involved and feeling part of the team.

If he's truly not ready for the NHL at least you find out early and then let him go to Albany and play a lot.

Keith did let in a horrific goal in Game-1 of the playoffs in the final minute.
I know he had a good season and he's a big kid with above average athleticism, let's see what we have in him.

Cory is the clear #1 and rightfuly so, but if he has to miss some time it would be nice to know we also have a good young goaltender to step in and carry the team.

Someone mentioned McPherson in another post, he is not close to being NHL ready from the games I saw him.

I'd be patient with this kid, I think he could be pretty good if allowed to season.
