I must have missed it but I don't see anyone criticizing Malkin. Just the second line, which isn't good enough for him. Changes need to be made. Specifically, Kapanen.

Malkin is simply to bad when he is bad. He is lazy at times and I don't give a rats a** about his picking his shots. He needs to play with effort at his age. The Pens simply are not good enough here and they need effort to win. Jarry saved their but far to many times in slow starts and that has to change.

Again, put Crosby with Malkin's linemates for a month and watch how he performs.

Any shortcoming on the 2nd line isn't on Malkin, it's on the coach and GM for giving him garbage to work with at ES.

There's a reason why every time GMR plays they light the league on fire.
